Emma Watson has received a $6 million salary in the first year of her contract with Fox, according to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal.
The actor will be paid $2.5 million for the first 12 months of the deal, $2 million in the second year and $2,500,000 in the third.
Her next pay period is set to begin in the summer.
The report says that Watson earned $1.8 million for her first three months of her employment.
Watson was also paid $500,00 for her performance in the new movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” and $1 million for “Captain America: Civil War.”
It’s not clear how much Watson has earned for her acting roles.
The actress has previously said that her salary is based on her age.
Fox released a statement Wednesday afternoon saying: “We are very pleased that Emma is making a real contribution to the Fox brand and our audiences with her performance as the lead in Fox’s new film ‘F50: Fifty Shades of Golden.’
She is a tremendous talent and a great example of what Fox stands for, which is respect, integrity, and honesty.”
The actress and her co-star Taron Egerton are set to make their debut in the upcoming film, which will also star “Captain Marvel” actress Chloe Sevigny.
