Walgens, the grocery store chain, has been trying to keep a lid on teen birthrates, with a recent marketing campaign in which teens are given a choice of buying one or two more diapers per week.
But the company’s latest effort to keep teens happy is to shrink the size of its diapers.
The new, smaller sizes will now be available in a handful of Walgarts stores nationwide, according to a press release from Walgreen.
They are available in Walgros T-shirts, tees, and bags, and are available online and in stores.
While the company says the new sizes are “better for teens,” the new smaller sizes are still going to be more than twice the size that Walgans’ previous sizes were.
“We are committed to offering a variety of diapers in sizes that our teens can find comfortable and fun,” a Walgroc spokesperson told The Huffington Post.
“While the new size is better for teens, we recognize that they can also find the new ones to be too big for their bodies.”
So what does this mean for you?
Well, if you’re in the market for a new size of Wal-Mart’s diapers, you might want to look into purchasing a new box of diapers.
You’ll likely end up paying for two new sizes of diapers per year, which would put you well into your teens years, at least.
