Will the alia Bhatt starrer RAAZI cross the 100 cr mark at box office ???

The Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi had a wonderful run at the box office making it a hit. The movie was released on 11 may and till now it has netted 68 cr from the domestic box office and still counting.

The movie is running in its second week and has shown a strong hold on second Friday and Saturday by netting Fri 4.75 cr, Sat 7.54 cr. if it will continue to go like this then today on second Sunday the movie will likely to collect approx 7-9 cr which will make its total around 75 cr plus.

The movie is Indian spy thriller film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions.

The movie also stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. But primarily movie is a woman-centric film and this is the first women-centric movie of alia Bhatt with no other big star cast. Needless to say, alia succeeded n winning the hearts with her acting.

Although the movie had no big star cast other than alia Bhatt but it has the backing of one of the biggest production house of India ‘Dharma production’ which is fully owned and operated by the Karan Johar.

It was Karan Johar who launched alia Bhatt under his ‘Dharma’ banner and made sure she has a successful career ahead by offering her back to back big movies.

The film RAAZI is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat which is inspired by real events about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer (Vicky Kaushal) during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 on the order of her father.

The second week will be the real test for the RAAZI because from here on the movie is not solo release but has to face competition from the Hollywood film Deadpool second instalment Deadpool 2.
