How to become successful, Kamal Bhandari of Sindhupalchowk, Buddhist Monks?

सारांश

  • Sometimes life takes unusual course.
  • This applies when we meet Mr.
  • Kamal Bhandari of Sindhupalchowk.

Sometimes life takes unusual course. This applies when we meet Mr. Kamal Bhandari of Sindhupalchowk. Born in eternal brahmin family, he chose such path which perhaps his family members or his nearest and dearest had imagined he would proceed this path. Born in existing Barhabise municipality of Sindhupalchowk about 3 decades back, when he reached at 19 years, he experienced a separate awesome feeling. He felt that this is not my path in which he was living or was in the environment. He was strongly suggested by his inner mind, “Kamal, now there is another path in which you are supposed to walk through”.

Kamal in his teen age, entered into the life of Lama and became Monk Ngawang. Initial struggle Father and mother with traditional religious background were surprised for a while after hearing the Kamal’s views. But a relative brother was already associated initially as the well known of Buddhist religion. So his father and mother specially did not try to prevent him. He came to Kathmandu with the objectives of adopting lama life and formal study of Buddhist education. Rimpoches of Shakya Gumba located in Arubari heartily welcomed him there. He was also sent to Thupten Namgyaling located in Himanchal Pradesh for more formal education.

He has already returned to Nepal after completing education of Acharya level. When he came to Kathmandu from Sindhupalchowk, sometimes he felt whether he has taken the other wise path. But again, firm determination under him contributed to make him strong. He continued his education in Bouddha religion and scriptures with serious concentration. In course of study, he knew that Bouddha religion is not religion of any caste. He knew that Chhetri and Brahmin community in ancient time had great role for the upliftment and promotion of Bouddha religion. Similarly he felt that his path is hundred percent right after knowing the contribution of many Brahmins teachers for promoting Bouddha religion. It is already 4 years he is living in Nepal after completing study in India.

He is equally involved in different social activities as well. He is active now since some times in translating Domak and other Bouddha texts in Sambota script to Nepali language. Flame ignition for world peace Now Kamal or Lama Ngawang is busy with flame ignition campaign. He has determined to ignite the flame by visiting all districts wishing world peace. Till now he has completed the flame ignition in 2 districts. He has accomplished such task in Chitwan and Sindhupalchowk districts. Currently Monk Lama Nwang is also the Secretary – General of Nepal Bouddhist Federation.
