After earning over Rs 300 crore in India, Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s Sultan to release in China on August 31

After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman Khan is all set to entertain the Chinese audience with his 2016 blockbuster Sultan. Yes, the sports drama also featuring Anushka Sharma in a pivotal role is scheduled to release on August 31. Well, this will be the sixth Indian release in China after Secret Superstar, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Baahubali 2, Hindi Medium and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. By looking at the current scenario, we are expecting Sultan to repeat its box office success in China, as Bajrangi Bhaijaan has definitely given Salman Khan a huge fan base to him.

Talking about Sultan, the story followed Sultan, an Olympic gold medalist wrestler who retires from the sport after a personal tragedy. He gets another chance to make his dream come true and win the love of his life back,  when he is invited to be a part of MMA league. He goes on to become a popular name across the world once again, with his winning streak in the MMA matches, and sets up a blood bank in his village, and eventually reunites with his estranged wife.

On the work front, Salman is currently shooting for Bharat. Talking about the film, it is an official adaptation of the South Korean movie – Ode To My Father. The Korean film depicted the history of the country from the 1950s to present-day through the life of a man. According to producer Atul Agnihotri, Bharat will show us the journey of Salman and India from 1947 to the early 2000s. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously delivered two blockbusters with Salman – Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
