Revealed: why Deepika Padukone is not shooting for any movie at present

The Ranisa Padmavati aka Deepika Padukone is one of the most successful and sought-after actress of the current era. Over the times she has proved that she is not just the beauty queen but also the acting queen with her back to back acting driven performances.

She has more number of hits, superhits and blockbuster movies than any other actress of the present era. she has almost spent a decade in the film industry and she is now called queen of Bollywood and for that she has given one after other performance in the movies like “Cocktail, Race-2, Piku, Ram-Leela, Yeh jawani hai deewani, Bajirao Mastani and the latest blockbuster padmaavat which crashed all her previous records held by the movies and entered the list of highest grossing movies of lifetime.

Now it is hard for anyone to believe even after the blockbuster movie like padmaavat Deepika Padukone doesn’t have any movie in her hand except Vishal Bharadwaj  ‘Sapna didi’ whose shooting halted for unknown times due to the ill health of Irfan Khan.

Since the start of this year, there were many speculations and wild guesses for the actress not signing the movie and the major reason which was claimed for this was the Deepika speculated marriage with her longtime beau Ranveer Singh.

But all the speculations are put to rest and now we know the real reason why Deepika is not shooting for any movies.

According to the sources Deepika is keen on doing an author-backed role and she hasn’t been offered something on those lines as yet. Deepika is no more interested to be the part of big banners movies with big stars. In spite, she wants to do the roles which are challenging and also wants to play roles equal to the protagonist of the movie rather just being part of big banner and playing the namesake roles.
