I have been offered a place to study MSc. in Law and Finance http://mlf.law.ox.ac.uk/  at the University of Oxford and I am the FIRST NEPALI to receive an offer from Oxford for this particular course. However, coming from a middle-class family, it is impossible for me to afford the studies at Oxford on my own and unfortunately, I have not been offered any scholarship. I am very happy to take a loan but the requirement of collateral is restricting me to use that alternative as well. This is a unique opportunity and a something that Nepal will require as we move forward to stability and progress, so to make this possible I have initiated a crowd funding so that with generous help and contribution from everyone, I am able to go to Oxford this September and then return to Nepal to play a vital role in leading it towards economic prosperity. It is so unfortunate that our government does not invest much on empowering our youths and we keep complaining about the kind of leaders we have. Equally sad is the fact that we do not have any Nepal-specific scholarship to help youth like me to go to top institutions worldwide and bring back the learning  to home. Therefore, the main reason why I started this campaign instead of waiting and applying next year expecting some foreign scholarship is that I wish to solve this problem by creating a scholarship fund after my studies at Oxford which I plan to personally fund and enable more Nepali youths to pursue their dream. I will match every contribution that goes towards this campaign to fund the scholarship.
