Deepika Padukone has finally signed her next movie after Padmaavat

The queen of bollywood aka Deepika Padukone has back to back hits in her name especially her last release padmaavat which crashed all the box office records of her previous films.

After such a massive hits and fame Deepika got it was quite surprising for her fans that she had not signed any movie after padmaavat and moreover there was only one movie which she signed before padmaavat.

Although post padmaavat Deepika started shooting for the ‘Sapna didi’ which also stars Irfan Khan. But due to the ill health of Irfan Khan, the movie has been postponed for an indefinite period.

Amidst all these months Deepika was seen in T.V commercials, events, times 100 gala, Met Gala and the recent one Cannes film festival.

However, she was not seen on the shooting sets and this gave rise to many speculations about Deepika not signing movies. Some sources claimed she is focusing on getting married this year while other said she wasn’t getting the script of her choice.

But finally putting all the speculations and rumours to rest Deepika has signed a movie.

Again, the actress has surprised her fans as she hasn’t signed an ordinary ROM-COM or drama movie but high octane action film.

Yes, you read it right, the first time the beauty queen will be doing action scenes.

A source close to the actor informed the publication, “After going through several scripts, Deepika has finally locked one and this is a massive superhero film. Deepika will have various action scenes which fans haven’t seen her doing before. The untitled film will be produced by Fox Star and she’s quite excited about it already.”

However, there is no formal announcement from the Deepika or her team side.
