Nepal was named the winner of the award during the SUN Movement Global Gathering organized in Côte d’Ivoire. Nepal is participating in the UN-run SUN campaign.
Member of National Planning Commission Prof Dr Gita Bhakta Joshi said that eight countries including Nepal received the award out of 60 nations participating in the programme.
Nepal received the award for its outstanding contribution to scaling up nutrition in the country
