Karan Johar KALANK is no more a secret story: Plot and character details leaked

The dharma productions upcoming multi starrer movie KALANK which made the headlines ever since it was announced firstly because it is Karan Johar movie and secondly because of its huge star cast.

Later the cast of the movie made sure to leak out the minor but important details of the movie that surely makers didn’t want to come out.

The movie stars Madhuri Dixit Nene, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.

The first one to leak out the character details was Lt Sridevi daughter jhanvi Kapoor who earlier revealed in an interview that Madhuri Dixit Nene will step into the shoes of Sridevi’s role in the Abhishek Varman directorial.

The makers of the movie tried hard to keep the storyline secret but with the one by one revelation coming out it looks like makers failed badly.

According to sources, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha will be playing key roles in the film. Varun will be seen essaying a Muslim blacksmith whose shop will be in the famous Lahore market called Heera Mandi which was later turned into a red-light area by the British.

Madhuri Dixit will be playing prostitutes’ leader while Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the role of a banjaran (migrant). Aditya Roy Kapur will play the role of an artisan who teams up with Varun Dhawan to start a rebellion against the British government.

Now only Alia and Sanjay Dutt’s roles are unknown and if the revelations keep coming we would not be surprised if their roles are also out.

It’s a Karan Johar film so obviously, there are no issues with the money. The movie is set in the 1940s against the backdrop of the partition. So to make the locations real Karan has spent whopping 15 cr to make the set of old Delhi mohalla with a palace at Mumbai film city. At present, the shooting is on here under tight security so that the set’s picture shouldn’t come out.

Well we wish nothing more comes out from the movie script and when the audience watches it they feel its freshness rather knowing the plot already.

The movie is scheduled to release on April 19, 2019.
